Effective 20 October 2026
Fūrin is an app for learning Japanese words, made by an independent developer. By using it you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy says how your data is handled.
The app needs an account, created by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for the devices you sign in on; “Sign out everywhere” in Profile ends every session if a device is lost. One email address is one account.
Your learning progress is yours. It is backed up under your account so that your devices can share it, and you can delete all of it at any time from Profile → Delete account.
The app is provided as it is, without a promise that it is free of mistakes or always available. Dictionary entries can contain errors. The developer is not liable for losses from using the app, beyond what applicable law doesn't allow to be excluded.
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. The developer may suspend an account that breaks these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new date; continuing to use the app means accepting it. Questions go to the developer through the support contact in the app's App Store or Google Play listing.
